Life Sciences EHS Business Practice Leader - New England Region
We are currently seeking a senior life sciences professional to direct our pharmaceutical and biotechnology EH&S business practice. Our ideal candidate will have senior level pharmaceutical and/or biotechnology experience pertaining to environmental health and safety issues, currently confronting this changing market sector.

Management Experience
A consulting or management background with business development skills and a high level of EH&S technical expertise. Should have peer recognition within the industry and strong leadership skills. Entrepreneurship, excellent communication and relationship building skills with an ability to grow a practice are highly valued.

Key Technical Functions

• Develop, enhance and deliver health safety and environmental services to pharmaceutical and biotechnology firms including, occupational safety, industrial hygiene, biosafety, training and other technical support. Infections agent exposure prevention programs and engineering controls used to minimize occupational exposures including facility and engineering controls design.
• Ability to assist clients with potent compound industrial hygiene, risk assessments, exposure guidelines and risk based exposure controls.
• Provide guidance in health risk reduction in toxicology research programs and chemical hygiene. Implement occupational health and safety systems and programs to prevent occupational illnesses and injuries in pharmaceutical research laboratories and manufacturing operations including laboratory and process safety respectively.
• Assist clients with sampling and exposure modeling of research API’s and scale up hazard operability studies.
  Provide guidance on preventing API releases into the environment.

Degrees
An advanced degree in toxicology and CIH or CIH with 15 years pharmaceutical/biotechnology experience.
