EHSS Environmental Specialist - Stormwater & Wastewater focus
Must be located in CA, OR, or WA

Do you have specific California, Oregon, or Washington experience in Clean Water Act environmental compliance? Do you have a working knowledge of EHSS management systems such as ISO 14001 and are you a strong technical writer? General Purpose and Scope of Position:
The EHSS Environmental Specialist is responsible for supporting the EHSS Central Services Department. Central Services leads corporate environmental and chemical-related programs including stormwater, waste, air, TSCA, FIFRA, and EPCRA. Essential to this role is the ability to work closely with members of the EHSS team, operations, branded products managers, and key stakeholders to manage regulatory obligations related to stormwater, wastewater, drinking water, and SPCC.

Key Skills and Abilities Include:

• Bachelor’s degree in Science, preferred in environmental science or related field
• Strong knowledge of the Clean Water Act and SPCC requirements
• Experience with California, Oregon, and/or Washington compliance obligations
• Project management skills
• Technical writing experience
• Strong Excel skills
• Ability to collaborate across departments, off-site teams, multi-task, and prioritize
• Working knowledge of EHSS management systems such as ISO 14001
• Ability to recognize process improvement and efficiency gain opportunities

Specific Responsibilities and Key Deliverables:

• Complete the development of stormwater, wastewater, and SPCC programs in an ISO 14001 environment
• Manage stormwater, wastewater, drinking water, and SPCC compliance for the corporation in partnership with the business
• Lead reporting requirements for the corporation for stormwater
• Assist EHSS Team members and operations in compliance with related programs
• Assist with the implementation of a corporate Chemical Management Strategy

Other Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience of related environmental compliance experience
• Specific experience with Washinton, Oregon, or California compliance
• Be located in Washington, Oregon, or California
