Job Responsibilities
Plans and implements the organization’s safety program to ensure safe, healthy, and accident-free work environment; handles Worker’s Compensation claims through closure by performing the following duties. 

  • Plans and implements safety policies and procedures in compliance with local, state, and federal Occupational Safety and Health
  • Administration (OSHA) rules and regulations.
  • Writes Worker’s Compensation reports and submits to the insurance carrier.
  • Writes automobile accident reports, consults with management for disposition and/or referral to the insurance carrier.
  • Maintains constant contact with the adjusters to manage and control Worker’s Compensation claims and automobile claims.
  • Maintains an Accident Log and remits monthly reports to Corporate and Branch management.
  • Plans and implements programs to train managers and employees in work site safety practices, fire prevention, and correct handling techniques for chemicals, toxins, equipment, and other materials.
  • Conducts safety training classes and new hire orientation to company employees.
  • Prepares studies and analyses of industrial accident causes and hazards to health for use by company personnel and outside agencies.
  • Inspects organization facilities to detect existing or potential accident and health hazards, determines corrective or preventative measures where indicated, and follows up to ensure measures have been implemented.
  • Provides information, signs, posters, barriers, and other materials to warn of potential and actual safety hazards and to prevent access to hazardous conditions.
  • Compiles and submits accident reports required by regulatory agencies.
  • Assist branches in recruiting field personnel through destinations of cold calling


Job Requirements: 

  • High School or GED
  • 2-5 years of related experience
  • Experience working within a construction environment
  • Valid driver's license in good standing
  • Proficient in MS Office
  • Must be bilingual Spanish
  • Strong time management skills
