Senior EHS Consultant [TF-11144]

A growing consulting organization with various offices across Massachusetts is looking to appoint a Vice President/Director-level EHS Consultant to their team.

This person can be based out of any of the firm's offices in Boston, Central, Western, and Coastal Massachusetts, depending on preference. The Senior EHS Consultant will be responsible for writing and developing programs, delegating tasks across various projects simultaneously, and conducting business development with a seller/doer approach. The Senior EHS Consultant will lead a team of consultants at various levels, and will be extremely valuable to the continuous growth of the organization.

The Role:

  • Provide technical expertise, and to develop, implement and support programs and tools that help ensure proactive compliance
  • Prepare and execute plans and proposals on numerous projects simultaneously
  • Delegate tasks and projects to team members and utilize each consultant as a resource to complete projects successfully
  • Build and maintain relationships with clients, both new and existing, in order to bring business to the company.
  • Build relationships and collaborate with employees at all levels, both within the organization and with external clients

The Candidate:
  • 15+ years of consulting or business development experience, ability to bring in new clientele
  • 15+ years in either EHS or Environmental consulting - working on the technical side as well as business development
  • BS Degree (preferable in Health, Safety, or Environmental Engineering or related)
  • Direct experience in New England, specifically in Massachusetts - understanding of state regulatory programs
  • 5+ years' management experience
  • Strong communication skills, ability to lead a team and acquire/maintain successful relationships with clients
  • Additional certification (CSP, CIH, PE License, etc.) strongly preferred
